Who we are
Testify Solutions Inc (“Testify Labs”, “we”) runs testifysolutions.net from Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site or get in touch, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us and what your browser sends when you visit:
- Contact form: your first and last name, email address and message.
- Book a Demo form: your name, email address, phone number if you add it, your use case and your message.
- Appointment booking: the details you enter and the time you choose.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Blog comments: your name, email address, website if you add it and your comment, as well as your IP address and browser details, which help us catch spam.
- Visits: the pages you view, the site that sent you, your browser and device, and your approximate location based on your IP address. Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats collect this for us, and our host and Cloudflare keep security logs of requests.
- Broken links and redirects: when you ask for a page that doesn’t exist or that we’ve moved, we log the address, the site that sent you and your browser, but not your IP address.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule demos and review design-partner applications.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how people use the site, so we can improve it.
- To keep the site secure and block spam.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run the site for us, or when the law requires it:
- Automattic (WordPress.com, Jetpack, Akismet and Gravatar) processes our forms, newsletter, visit statistics, spam checks and some images. See Automattic’s privacy policy.
- Google provides Google Analytics and the map on our blog page. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- HostGator (part of Newfold Digital), our web host, stores the site and what you send through it.
Appointment booking runs on our own site and doesn’t send your details to any other service.
Cookies
- Google Analytics (
_gaand_ga_…, up to 2 years) tells visits apart, so we can count visitors. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, they’re only set after you accept them on our cookie banner. Elsewhere, choosing Reject turns them off. - Your cookie choice (
cmplz_…andwp_consent_…, 30 days) remembers what you chose on our cookie banner. - Cloudflare (such as
__cf_bm, 30 minutes) helps tell people from bots. - Comments: if you choose to, your name, email and website are saved so you don’t have to type them again.
- Login: only for people who manage the site.
Our cookie banner lets you accept or reject visit counting and the Google map on our blog page. Jetpack Stats and the map only load once you accept them. You can change your choice at any time here:
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics on every site, use Google’s opt-out add-on.
How long we keep it
- Messages, demo requests and bookings: as long as we’re in touch, and up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Comments: as long as the post is up, unless you ask us to remove yours.
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
- Logs of broken links and redirects: 7 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Depending on where you live, for example California, the EU or the UK, you may have further rights, such as to object to how we use your information or to complain to a data protection authority. We’ll reply within one month.
Children
The site isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Where your information goes
We’re in the United States, and so are most of the services above, although some process data in other countries too. They protect it under their own policies, linked above.
Changes to this policy
When what we collect changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
